Lucas Elliott Memorial Turkey Hunt 2026

We were honored to host 18 warriors for the hunt, supported by 4 dedicated guides—also Veterans—bringing our total to 22 warriors in the field.

The weekend saw one coyote harvested, and every hunter had the opportunity to see turkey in the field. Both successful turkey harvests were especially meaningful, as they marked the first turkey kills for those warriors. The hunter who harvested the largest turkey will receive a complimentary fan mount, along with the beard and spurs, generously donated.

Despite the very hot weather, spirits remained high throughout the event.

We were proud to serve approximately 75 people at Friday night’s dinner and around 45 on Saturday evening. Friday’s meal was generously donated by Elks Lodge #1038 at Birchwood, whose support helped make the event even more special.
